Description
This Royal Air Force (RAF) Long Service and Good Conduct Nylon/Cotton Medal Ribbon Slider has a width of 32mm. The Royal Air Force (RAF) Long Service and Good Conduct was instituted in 1919 by King George V. The medal was awarded to Regular force non-commissioned officers and airmen of the RAF. The award was later also awarded to officers who had served a minimum period in the ranks before being commissioned. The ribbon featured a dark blue and crimson band with a small white band on either side.
