Made In Britain

The Made in Britain mark is accredited to businesses that sell goods manufactured or that have undergone a final substantial change in Britain before sale. All companies that apply to use the Made in Britain mark must submit written evidence that they manufacture their products in Britain.

Made in Britain adheres to advice on country of origin labelling included in the Trade Descriptions Act 1968. The term ‘Country of Origin’ refers to the country in which a product last underwent a final treatment or process resulting in a substantial change. For a Made in Britain member, this is confirmed to be Great Britain.

The Made in Britain organisation aims to demonstrate, wherever possible, that products made in Britain by their members are of the highest quality, represent value for money, are safe for anyone who uses or consumes them, and that the companies that make them adhere to the highest business standards.

Wyedean are proudly members of the Made In Britain Organisation. The Made In Britain mark is displayed on the products we manufacture, the Wyedean website, and all related marketing media.

A number of products in the Wyedean portfolio are not exclusively manufactured by Wyedean in the UK, and the mark is not applicable to these items. Nor, wherever reasonably possible, is it displayed in such a manner as to infer that these products may be made in Britain. If you require specific confirmation on which items this caveat relates to, please email info@wyedean.com for details.
