The Defence Medal is a campaign medal which was awarded to British subjects for both non-operational military and certain types of civilian service during the Second World War. The ribbon features a green background with a red band in the middle and a black thin band either side.
Many of Wyedean's braids, tapes, cords, trims and narrow fabrics are manufactured in-house in the UK, and have many varied applications with the military and other armed forces. These braids and laces can also be used in other areas such as craft, design or textile projects.
